Outright Games has announced a new game in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. The project will be released in 2024 on PC and unnamed consoles, and its actions will unfold in the same universe as in the recently released cartoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
The game will unfold a few months after the events of the cartoon. Players will take control of the Turtles as they interact with a host of famous franchise characters and fight to save a stylized New York City from a new mutant threat. According to the developers, the novelty will combine energetic ninja-style team gameplay with humorous storytelling, and the graphics will be made in the style of the original.
“Nickelodeon is one of our longtime licensing partners and we are thrilled to be able to bring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to life in a brand new and original video game,” Outright Games COO Stephanie Malham said in a press release. “This is one of the most enduring and beloved franchises in the world, and we are thrilled to use our experience to further expand the Turtles’ global reach through the world of video games.”
More information about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem developers will reveal later.
