Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Outright Games have unveiled a new 3D platform adventure titled My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure. The game is based on the feature-length cartoon “My Little Pony: The Next Generation”, released in 2021. The release is scheduled for May 27, 2022 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be released later with a free upgrade option.
In the story, the earth pony Sunny wants to make the world a better place by organizing Maretime Bay Day, a forgotten celebration of friendship and magic. However, some ponies try to ruin the party by stealing cakes, releasing bunnies, and ruining Pipp’s paintings. Now it’s up to the players to help the Sunny throw the most magical party Equestria has ever seen.
My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure will offer not only a single-player campaign, but also a two-player co-op mode with various mini-games.
