NetEase Games founded BulletFarm studio to develop a cooperative shooter

NetEase Games announced that it has founded the BulletFarm studio, headed by David Vonderhaar, who was previously responsible for developing games in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series. The new studio’s first project will be an ambitious cooperative first-person shooter. The game is created on the Unreal Engine 5 and will offer an exciting adventure and a fresh take on the shooter genre.

BulletFarm’s office is located in Los Angeles, but most of the employees will work remotely. The team is currently partially staffed and is looking for new employees.

Opening a new studio gave me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and try my hand at creating something completely new and unusual. This game is different from the ones I’ve worked on before, but it shows my passion for well-developed characters, defined mechanics, deeper storytelling, and plenty of action.
NetEase has given us incredible support so we can explore new ways and give us real freedom to create concepts and ideas for our game.” – David Vonderhaar, Head of Studio BulletFarm.
