THQ Nordic decided to demonstrate one of the features of the action platformer Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy – a cooperative mode. In the new trailer, we can see how a gamer tries to play the fifth part of the series alone, but gradually other people join him, and in the end they go through the game with four.
Everything would be fine, but it all looks too pretentious. Many netizens note that the trailer evokes a feeling of “cringe” and jokes about this topic in every possible way. Here are some of the comments from YouTube:
“Looks like a very realistic group of people”
“It was awkward. Please no theatrical co-op trailers.”
“I just woke up and I have already completed my daily cringe quota. Thank you THQ”
“Finally! Pure and untreated kringetanium!”
“Sir Kringe called and wanted to return his actors”
“I was looking forward to the release of the game and was thinking about buying it on the first day, but damn, this trailer full of cringe almost made me change my mind. I need to forget what I saw, otherwise during the game I will have flashbacks and I won’t be able to enjoy it.”
“I love Trine games but this trailer is really creepy…wtf”
