Yesterday, the Chinese company Realme officially unveiled the Realme GT Neo in the domestic market. The new flagship is similar to the standard Realme GT launched in early March, but only externally.
The mobile device has a bright design. The body is made of plastic; a wide iridescent strip is visible on the back and the camera module. The GT Neo weighs 179 grams and measures 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4mm. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED to display with support for Full HD + quality, 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch frequency. A fingerprint scanner is built into the screen.
The key difference is the Dimensity 1200 chipset from MediaTek. This is the first mobile device with this equipment. The smartphone comes with 12GB + 256GB storage. Also, the GT Neo has a new cooling system. According to Realme, it can bring the temperature down to 15 degrees.
The smartphone runs on the Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 shell. The mobile device has support for two SIM cards, fifth-generation cellular communications, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. GT Neo is equipped with all the necessary sensors and stereo speakers, headphone jack, and USB. The only drawback is the lack of memory card support.
The smartphone has a large 4500mAh battery with a 50W maximum power charger. The mobile device supports 65W fast charging. On the backside, there is a triple camera module. The main lens is presented at 64MP, ultra-wide-angle at 8MP, and macro at 2MP. The front camera is installed at 16MP. The cost is:
- $ 274 for 6GB + 128GB
- $ 305 for 8GB + 128GB
- $ 366 for 12GB + 256GB
The smartphone will go on sale on April 8 in China. Whether the device will receive a global version is unknown.
