Inflexion Games has announced a major Realms Rebuilt update for the survival simulator Nightingale. According to the developers, it will be the largest since the game was released in early access.
The authors decided to divide the story about the new update into two parts. In the first, they talked about the most requested features and a new approach to progression, and in the next they promise to discuss story updates and other things that players will be able to discover. We have prepared for you a short summary with all the important information from the first part in Russian.
Key changes in the update:
- Global rework of the progression system:
- Progression Tree – A new system that replaces purchasing recipes from merchants. Players will unlock new items and upgrades using essence earned by completing quests and activities.
- Gameplay Focus – Less emphasis on gathering resources, more emphasis on exploring the world and completing quests.
- Clearer Progression System – Players will have a clearer understanding of how they progress in the game.
- Expanding construction capabilities:
- Increased Limits – The number of building elements that can be used in one building has been significantly increased, as well as the overall weight limit for all buildings.
- New Building Set – Added an elegant Regency style that will allow players to create more sophisticated buildings.
- New content and mechanics:
- Bow and Arrow – A classic survival weapon that adds new tactics to the game.
- New spells – Expanding the magical capabilities of characters.
- New biomes and locations – New places to explore will be added, with unique resources and dangers.
- New creatures – Meeting new inhabitants of the world of Nightingale.
The developers noted that due to the scale of the changes, there will be a wipe, so players will have to start all over again. However, already created worlds can be transferred offline to play in single player mode. However, in this case, these worlds will not receive any updates.
