Update 1.8 has been released for the PUBG Mobile Battle Royale, along with which the collaboration with the Spider-Man: No Way Home movie has started. Until February 14, the game is hosting an event in which players can go to Erangel or Livik to fight mysterious monsters together with Spider-Man, get advanced supplies, as well as shoot web charges and use them to move around the expanses of game maps.
In addition, the developers have added a new map “Consequences”, which is a modified version of Livik, subjected to radical changes after the explosions of the volcanic eruption. The mountains were shattered into pieces, and houses and surrounding areas were completely destroyed. According to the developers, the map turned out to be much more dynamic than the original Livik.
The update also includes improvements to the matchmaking system for Unranked and Ranked modes, an overhaul of the Royale Pass Month and game seasons, as well as gameplay changes and optimization fixes.
