After Blizzard joined Activision, the beloved old-school gamers “Blizzard” began to change its face. This was followed by the departure of Blizzard veterans, including former CEO Mike Morheim and game designer Chris Metzen. We now know that Chris is making a board game. Also, some other Blizzard veterans managed to raise $ 10 million to develop a strategy with hints of StarCraft. Now another man, Jeff Kaplan, has left the ranks of the Blizzard. He has served as Vice President and Game Designer for Overwatch. In total, he worked for the company for 19 years. That is, he started working at Blizzard at the very start of World of Warcraft.

Jeff was replaced by Aaron Keller. Prior to that, he was part of the Overwatch development team. Aaron promises constant updates regarding Overwatch 2. He also said that now the developers of the online shooter are giving their full attention to the second part. This could mean that large quantities of content will no longer be imported for the original Overwatch.

As for Jeff, while he got off with a “PR goodbye” and there are no special details about why he left.
