Slasher Darkbind entered the CBT stage. We took part in it and now we hasten to share our opinion.
Darkbind is an excellent project on smartphones, which can simultaneously replace both Dark Souls and even God of War (if we are talking about the classic parts). The game is still available in China, so the plot is difficult to understand. At the start, we will be given to choose the gender of the character, as well as his appearance; of course, random presets cause more facepalm, because the hero comes out cute and even with “duck lips”.
Gameplay
The first location is the Underworld, in which our hero sits on the throne. Then he receives blades and meets with the first demon. I note the elaboration of locations – lighting, destroyed parts of the bridge and ashes in the air brighten up not the most realistic graphics. As for the combat system, it is free and without auto-mode, albeit with targeting a separate enemy. I am glad that the interface is not crowded with icons and special assumptions – abilities, a stick for movement and a little information about the battery and ping.
Soon we meet with the first boss. His appearance is made in the format of a cut-scene on the game engine. It’s a pity that he has few animations and types of attacks, and after the formidable blows of the blades on his body, you expect something like DOOM. But no, they will show a maximum of blood. Enemies drop souls, which are probably later spent on pumping.
