The long-awaited RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to begin shipping on December 10, but some pre-order players have received the coveted packages this week.
In this regard, CD Project RED published an appeal to such players on its Twitter page, in which it earnestly asks not to arrange any stream / let play of Cyberpunk 2077 until the official release.
Of course, not everyone listened to the developers’ request, so the whole world has already learned that one of the non-player characters’ appearance was presented by the legendary game designer Hideo Kojima. The developers hope that those who received the game ahead of time will treat the rest of the fans with respect and allow them to play without knowing all sorts of spoilers.
As we get closer and closer to the release of the game, chances are some of you will get your hands on a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 before its official release. Despite the complexities involved, we are committed to ensuring that players around the world have the same – spoiler-free – gaming experience when the game is released. Therefore, we kindly ask you NOT to broadcast / let-play the game and not to release any similar content until the release of the game (December 10, 03:00 Moscow time). We’ll send MAX-TAC (you know, the guys who delete videos) in the footsteps of everyone who does it. However, after that date, we will be very happy if you sit down to stream as if tomorrow does not come.
