Microtransactions in the multiplayer action World of Tanks have become cheaper, and this is not a temporary promotion. Lesta Games has announced a reduction in the cost of all goods in the in-game store by 29% in Russian rubles and on 10% in Belarusian rubles. For example, the “2500 gold” set was previously sold for 550 RUB / 15 BYN, and now it can be purchased for 390 RUB / 13.5 BYN. Prices for goods denominated in Belarusian rubles decreased less, since they were initially much cheaper in this currency.
The developers explained the decision to reduce the cost by saying that community support is much more important to them than the size of the profit, and therefore they revised and changed a lot in the financial approach. According to Lesta Games, their goal is to give players more, not take more from them.
In addition, the authors promised to try to keep the new prices as long as possible, and also continue to do everything possible to protect the interests of the players.
