The next update for the Russian version of Action MMORPG Lost Ark will add a real island with dinosaurs. The primeval island is located in the ocean of Procea, east of Rohandel, and is accessible at any time without restrictions.
The so-called Wild Games are available on Primeval Island, where the main task is to defeat all enemies and be the last survivor. In fact, this is another variation of the “Royal battle”. However, you can take part in this event only at certain times:
- Tuesday and Thursday – 11:00/13:00/19:00/21:00/23:00;
- Saturday – 09:00/11:00/13:00/19:00/21:00/23:00.
Only players with equipment level 1490 and above can take part in the Wild Games, but no more than three times a day. You must register for the event within 30 minutes after the start. After submitting an application, after a certain time you will move to the waiting area, where you will stay until a certain number of players are reached. Before the start, everyone will have the opportunity to choose the area where the game will begin.
In the Wild Games, all participants start with the same conditions, so the power level of items and combat characteristics do not decide the outcome of the battle. In the early stages, players will have to settle for a frying pan as a weapon, but on the island you can also find a hammer, a fireball, a crossbow, and a grenade launcher. Weapons cannot be hidden during battle, but they can be exchanged for other special weapons.
Special weapons can be upgraded with parts obtained by killing raptors. For defeating a player, you can get his weapons and combat equipment, as well as buffs in the form of recovery, increased health and mobility. Special ammo is also available, with unique and useful effects that allow you to change the course of the battle.
According to the canons of the Battle Royale genre, the playing area narrows over time, and if you find yourself outside it, you will gradually lose health. There is no way to be reborn after death.
The reward in the Wild Games is based on the place taken, and the rating is reset every Wednesday at 06:00 UTC. Also, with some chance, the Soul of the Island is issued for participation.
