Publisher Riot Games recalled the development of the fighting game Project L. What is known?
Project L is a brand new game set in the League of Legends universe. It was first shown in 2019, after which there was silence. Now the developers are reminded of the project again. It is not yet known on what platforms the game will be released, but in TapTap pre-registration for iOS and Android has already begun. Plus, in the video, a Riot Games employee is playing on a PC. As for the release date, in official post it says Project L won’t be released this year or next.
Project L is built on the familiar tag-team mechanic, that is, fighters can summon other heroes to carry out cool combos. There can be a maximum of two characters in a squad. The developers are trying to make dynamic gameplay that revolves around the creativity of the players. The gameplay is made according to the “easy to start and difficult to master” scheme. Riot Games promises that Project L will not be casual, but will simply open doors for gamers of all levels. By the way, next year we are expecting two updates for the game, the first of which should appear in the second half of 2022.
