There are a few days left before the release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and many publications have already rolled out the first views of this game. The development was led by Insomniac studio, which donated Marvel’s Spider-Man to gamers. Let’s see what they say about Rift Apart and first turn to the aggregator Opencritic… There, the average score is 89 out of 100 points. Edition IGN put 9/10, considering Rift Apart to be a fantastic exclusive on PlayStation 5: the game not only shows the power of the console, but also gives out an emotional story.

Guys from GameSpot felt that Rift Apart played well on the new generation, while the humor and storytelling remained the same; score – 9/10. Representatives did not treat the game so affectionately IGN Italy and IGN Spain: they gave the game 8.4 / 10 and 7.5 / 10 respectively. Among the downsides, they mentioned repetitive and routine events, as well as Insomniac’s inability to create something new in the Ratchet & Clank universe. Because of this, the plot twists are predictable.

One way or another, critics agree that Rift Apart is a fun game for the whole family that shows all the delights of the PlayStation 5 hardware. At the same time, the variability of events and enemies leaves much to be desired. The project may seem too “sterile” to some.
