The developers of the roguelike action game Ravenswatch, which recently reached its full release, published a letter in which they expressed their deep gratitude to the players for the warm reception of the game and shared their plans for the future. As the team noted, although this is not their first project, each new release remains an important milestone for them, and seeing the constant support of the community is the best reward and incentive to continue improving the game.
Currently the studio is divided into two areas. One part is busy preparing the console versions of the game – the release on PlayStation and Xbox is scheduled for November 28, and the version for Nintendo Switch will be released a little later. The second team is already working on new future updates that will bring new content.
Passtech Games has prepared a plan for the first year after release, which will focus on increasing the diversity and replayability of Ravenswatch. The developers plan to add more events on the maps, new activities, unique enemies, interesting battles and additional challenges. These updates will affect three main chapters of the game and will be free for all owners of the basic version.
However, it won’t do without paid content either. New heroes will be added in DLC, which will support further development of the game. However, along with paid additions, players will also receive free updates with minor improvements and additions.
Passtech Games deliberately does not disclose the full list of future updates in order to leave room for unexpected innovations and ideas from the community. The team is monitoring the feedback and plans to improve Ravenswatch by making changes and adding features requested by players. More detailed plans will be published through video diaries and blogs.
