Xiaomi has confirmed the date of the smartphone Redmi Note 9T announcement, which should be presented on January 8 this year in Spain. It is expected to be one of the most affordable phones in Europe with support for fifth-generation networks. Presumably, this is the global version of the Redmi Note 9 5G, launched in China last November.
The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The smartphone is built based on the Dimensity 800U single-chip system. The Redmi Note 9T is expected to receive up to 8GB of LPPDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal flash storage.
The smartphone should receive a 13-megapixel front camera, and 48, 8, and 2-megapixel image sensors will be installed in the main camera. Out of the box, the smartphone will run MIUI 12 shell.
Redmi Note 9T will support 18W fast charging and a 5000mAh battery.
