The third-person psychological horror Alan Wake 2, announced at the end of December 2021, has finally announced the exact release date. The game will be released on October 17, 2023 on PC and current generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
“We at Remedy have been waiting for a very long time to show you Alan Wake 2. Check out our new gameplay trailer that was shown at today’s PlayStation Showcase. The Remedy team put their heart and soul into this trailer; We hope you enjoy what you see,” the developers announced.
Alan Wake 2 is a single-player psychological survival horror game and sequel to the original 2010 Alan Wake game. The sequel is being built from the ground up to be a true next-gen game, with stunningly detailed graphics that bring story, action and environments to life thanks to Remedy’s Northlight engine, according to the authors.
