Mercenaries is a longstanding mode in the Resident Evil series and an important element of Resident Evil Village. However, as in other games in the series, you won’t be able to open it right away.
To unlock this mode in the Village, you need to beat the game on any difficulty – this will open the additional content store. There you can buy a huge number of new weapons and add-ons, including Mercenaries.
Where does the Mercenaries mode open?
Mercenaries worth 10CP (Completion Point – completion points), but if you have already completed the game, you should have more than enough of them. CP can be earned by completing challenges, which will be available for viewing in the pause menu after continuing the game in New Game+ mode (the “Continue” button in the main menu).
For those who don’t know, Mercenaries is a very fun time trial in which you have to kill the maximum number of enemies and score maximum points. For a while, Resident Evil forgot about him – surprisingly, he was not even in the Resident Evil 3 remake – so it’s great that he’s back again.
