Publisher GameMill Entertainment and developer Flu Games have unveiled a new project in the Walking Dead universe. The Walking Dead: Destinies is a third-person story-driven action-adventure game that will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch for $49.99. The release date is still unknown.
The plot of The Walking Dead: Destinies is based on the fourth season of the AMC series, but has a non-linear structure. The player begins the playthrough as Rick Grimes and travels to locations familiar to fans, including Green’s farm, prison, Woodbury, and Atlanta. The further plot and the fate of the characters depend on the decisions made.
The game features over a dozen characters from The Walking Dead series, including Rick, Shane, Michonne, Carol, Daryl and more. Each of them has its own unique abilities. Also, the player is required to competently manage limited resources, such as weapons and ammunition.
