#TeamRICOCHET Kernel Anti-Cheat Protection Driver is officially released worldwide for Call of Duty: Vanguard. Since mid-December last year, the system has been available in Call of Duty: Warzone, and now players of the latest part of the main series will be able to take advantage of this anti-cheat, which Activision is especially proud of.
One of RICOCHET’s methods is the so-called masking system. With it, players caught cheating will not be able to see opponents on the map. Characters, bullets, and even sounds made by honest players will not be distinguishable by cheaters. The previously present Damage Shield system, which blocks the damage caused by cheaters, will also not go anywhere.
The developers have confirmed that any security measures that result in players being banned will be reflected on the leaderboard. Simply put, if a user is banned for cheating, he will be immediately removed from the table.
