Do you like Rocket League? Then there is good news: this game will be transferred to mobiles in the form of Rocket League Sideswipe. This is not a mobile port, but a separate game (remember PUBG Mobile). From the trailer, you can see that instead of a third person view, we get a side view. The matches will be solo and 2v2. They last about two minutes. Thanks to matchmaking, you can play with your friends. The developers promise intuitive controls for both Rocket League veterans and newbies. Ranked matches should be expected. We’ll have more information on the game in the coming months.
Players from Australia and New Zealand can now join the regional alpha testing on Android via Google Play. In the future, several more beta tests will be launched for other regions. For the alpha test, you need to have a device running Android 6.0 with 2GB of RAM. Testing will last until March 30. You will need an Epic Games account to participate. Progress will be reset immediately after the end of the test.
Rocket League Sideswipe will be released on iOS and Android in 2021. It will be a shareware project with all that it implies.
