RPG Black Stella anime release raises more questions than answers

Black Stella was supposed to be released back in 2019. After 3 years of waiting, the game will launch this month, but it’s not that simple.

Black Stella is an anime gacha where you build a squad of waifu. The game is due for release on June 30th according to the App Store, but the Japanese description indicates that it’s not that simple. You see, at the time of writing, the game is not available in the CIS and Western Google Play. We were able to find an active registration page in Japan.

According to the plot, a series of disasters hit Tokyo in 1999, as a result, monsters broke free and began to attack civilians. Because of this, Tokyo will be cut off from Japan and the rest of the world by 2049. The developers promise more than 100 million characters and turn-based battles. The combat system in Black Stella is based on 6 elements, to which waifu belong. The graphics are not the best even for “live 2D”, although the epic soundtrack sets the atmosphere. If you are too lazy to think about local mechanics, you can safely set it to auto mode and even speed up battles.
