A year after its Early Access release, Slime Rancher 2 continues to evolve. In 2024, developers are planning release at least three major updates that will significantly expand the game world and player capabilities.
The first update, which will be released in the spring, will be dedicated to gadgets. The developers will allow players to place them anywhere in the world, which will allow them to create new strategies and solve non-standard problems. The second update will be released in the summer, and the third in the fall. The details of these updates have not yet been revealed, but it can be assumed that they will add new locations, creatures and/or mechanics.
The developers of Slime Rancher 2 have not announced a full release date for the game, but given its success in early access, it is possible that the full version will be released this year.
