A preparation screen that allows you to select your gear for the next mission.
Upon completion of each main campaign mission, a detailed summary will be displayed. From this menu, you can find out about things like the amount of experience you were able to get, the number of troops killed, tasks completed, or secrets obtained. Before starting the next mission, you can change the difficulty level (which doesn’t count as you can block yourself from getting some achievements/trophies) or change your character’s equipment (loadout tab). This section will focus on the latter.
In the equipment modification window, you can choose which weapons and additional equipment you will receive during the next mission. It is highly recommended to bring your best sniper rifle and silenced pistol. The choice of secondary weapon is not important, since you will use it very rarely. In terms of equipment, you should focus on getting first aid kits so you can fully patch yourself up – this is important even if you’re avoiding a confrontation with an enemy (healing yourself from a fall, for example). Grenades and land mines are also important, especially if you are sure you will encounter enemy armor on the next mission. A separate window (Customize Rifle) allows you to modify your primary weapon, the sniper rifle.
