PEOPLE CAN Fly announced the signing of an agreement with Sony Interactive Entertainment to create a prototype of a new game, named Project Delta. The development will be based on one of the intellectual regions of Sony Interactive Entertainment, but which one is not specified.
Cooperation is carried out according to the Work-For-Hire model, which means that PEOPLE CAN Fly acts as a third-party developer, completing the work by Sony Interactive Entertainment. In return, the studio will receive the agreed reward from the publisher. The process of creating a prototype will be divided into stages. According to PEOPLE CAN Fly, the terms of the agreement correspond to the standard provisions of such contracts in the gaming industry.
Additional details of the project are not yet disclosed. However, the announcement uses a similar wording with the 2023 statement on the PEOPLE CAN Fly agreement with Microsoft for the development of the Project Maverick, which was recently confirmed as the participation of the studio in the joint development of GEARS of WAR: E-day. Based on this, it remains unclear whether PEOPLE CAN Fly is the main developer of the Project Delta or acts as a co -developer.
