Saber Interactive has released a major update 3.0 for the third-person action game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, which is almost 30 GB in size. It brought with it several changes, including some that players had previously requested.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 now features private lobbies in Operations mode. Now players can complete missions alone or together with a friend, avoiding the selection of random allies. The game also features a new sparring arena located on the ship, which is available in the Operations and Eternal War modes. Players will be able to train in PvP with their comrades before the next missions, using weapons and grenades as in real battles. The promised support for ultra-wide monitors has also been added.
In addition, the update includes a number of improvements. Now you can reset custom color presets and replace them with standard ones with one click. Changes have been made to the balance: the damage from the Power Fist weapon and the plasma cannon has been increased, the enemy AI parameters have been reworked, and the aggressiveness of enemies on the Veteran difficulty level when playing alone has been reduced. Various bugs related to bots have been fixed, animations and interface elements have been improved, and the system for reviving players in PvP has been updated to reduce the possibility of being killed during respawn.
