Publisher Funcom and developer Shiro Games have revealed the exact release date for the real-time strategy game Dune: Spice Wars. The game will appear on PC through the early access program this month, on April 26, 2022. This stage will last from 9 to 12 months, after which a full-fledged release will take place.
During Early Access, the authors are going to release updates that add new content and features, including a multiplayer mode, a new playable faction and a full story campaign. In addition, regular small updates with various fixes and innovations are expected.
Dune: Spice Wars is a 4X RTS set in the Dune universe by Frank Herbert. Players will be able to choose from four factions and play as iconic characters including Duke Leto Atreides or Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. To achieve victory, you will have to extract resources, increase the army and seize territories.
