HoYoverse has unveiled the next major update 1.3 for Honkai: Star Rail called Reflection of Ruins in the Sky. It will be released on August 30, 2023 and will bring with it a lot of new content.
First of all, the game will feature a new location called Aurumathon Lane, which used to be a busy shopping area. Players will have to restore it by organizing transportation and planning more efficient logistics routes.
The new Swarm Invasion mode will become available in the Virtual Universe. In it, you will learn the intricate story of the struggle between Taizziront and other Aeons, passing randomly generated zones and various challenges.
The following will join the list of playable characters:
- Dan Heng: Moon Eater (5★, Imaginary Type, Path of Destruction) – Possesses the ability to expend multiple skill points to unleash a crushing ability. Depending on the number of upgrades, the basic attack will transform into different forms and deal different damage. Superpower deals imaginary damage to the selected enemy and nearby targets, and also gives Dragon Scales to compensate for the cost of skill points.
- Fu Xuan (5★, Quantum type, Save Path) – Talent reduces damage and restores HP, skill reduces damage taken by allies, and super ability deals quantum damage to all enemies.
- Lynx (4★, Quantum type, Path of Abundance) — The sister of Cheetah and Serval, known as a researcher of the dangerous locations of Belobog. He is a support character that can heal allies.
The developers also promised to showcase the PlayStation 5 version of Honkai: Star Rail at gamescom 2023, starting August 23rd. The port itself will be released in the third quarter of 2023.
