Stardew Valley farming simulator sold 20 million copies

The developer of farming simulator Stardew Valley has managed to sell 20 million copies of the game so far. Moreover, 13 million of them went to the PC version, while the remaining 7 million divided among themselves all other platforms, such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Ninteno Switch, iOS and Android (on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S the project works through backwards compatibility).

It took the game just over six years to achieve this result – the release took place on February 26, 2016. In January 2020, the number of copies sold reached 10 million, and in September 2021 – 15 million.

Recall that only one person was involved in the creation of Stardrew Valley – Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. He is currently working on a new game called Haunted Chocolatier, which does not yet have a release date.
