Valve has published the results of user voting for the best games of 2024. Quite expectedly, the game of the year was the action-adventure Black Myth: Wukong. The game from the Chinese studio Game Science beat out HELLDIVERS 2, Balatro, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Neither the “democratic helldivers” nor the “space marines of the Imperium of Man” could stop the mythological Chinese king of the monkeys.
In addition, Black Myth: Wukong won in two more categories: “Best Game You Can’t Grow” and “Best Game with an Outstanding Story.” In all the categories where it was nominated, the game was able to win. Impressive user support for a good game.
