Huawei has released a significant software update for users of last year’s flagship smartphones – the Huawei P30 (review) and P30 Pro (review).
So far, the update is available as another beta version of EMUI 11 in China. Build 22.214.171.124 brings a couple of new features as well as screen optimizations.
This firmware supports high-speed transfer of large files – up to 400 GB at speeds up to 305 Mbps. Another innovation is additional dynamic animated effects. The feature debuted with the launch of the flagship Huawei Mate 40 series of smartphones in October. Recently, the Huawei P40 and Mate 30 received a similar update.
As a reminder, Chinese users of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro received stable EMUI 11 in December, and beta testing is underway in several other regions. In Russia, Huawei plans to release the stable EMUI 11 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro in January-March 2021.
