A recent update for the survival simulator ARK: Survival Ascended, which added the ability to use cosmetic items as modifications, turned out to be a problem. Due to the bug, players began to lose items from their inventory.
Studio Wildcard representatives were forced to roll back the update and return the servers to the previous version. Players who were affected by the bug should receive their lost items. However, all the progress accumulated after the update was released was deleted due to the rollback. To compensate, the developers tripled the frequency of evolution events.
This is not the first time this has happened in Ark: Survival Ascended. A few weeks ago, players had to endure a rollback due to an exploit that gave players an unfair advantage.
