The Red Thread Games studio, known for Draugen and Dustborn, introduced Hello Sunshine – a mystical survival simulator with RPG elements about traveling in a burned desert in the shadow of a giant robot. The actions of Hello Sunshine unfold in a world destroyed by Sunshine megacorporation, in which only warring combat fur and half -abandoned vending machines remained. The main character is the last employee of the corporation, who needs to get to the distant tower and decide the fate of this dying world.

The main mechanics of the game are built around a trip in the shadow of a giant robot. The player will look for a provisions, collect mechanical parts, improve his metal satellite and send drum drivers. At night, the temperature drops sharply, and the only way to warm up is to stay closer to the robot, using this time to cook and repair equipment.

Over time, a connection is established between the hero and the robot. At the beginning of the trip, the mechanical giant barely pays attention to the person, but as the player moves, he will be able to help him with the repair, set up upgrades and discover new methods of interaction. In response, the robot will remove obstacles, cover from dangers, fight with hostile machines and find secrets in the desert.

In addition to survival and research, in Hello Sunshine it will be possible to configure the appearance of the robot, painting it and adding decal. There is also a cooperative regime in which one player controls a person, and the second – by a giant robot by himself. The developers promise that such mechanics will allow you to pass the game from different points of view, and the interaction between the characters will affect the plot.
