Tencent is recruiting new employees to develop a heroic shooter in the Honor of Kings franchise. Over the past month, seven vacancies have been published related to design, animation, client development and planning various elements of the game. Judging by the vacancies, the game is developed on the Unreal Engine 5, and it will be based on command battles taking into account the legacy of the Moba Honor of Kings.
The project is developed in the subsidiary of Timi Studio Group, and vacancies appeared after a large -scale restructuring, held in January 2025. Then the L2 studio, engaged in a non -anced shooter since 2021, was included in the L1 studio, which is responsible for all Honor of Kings franchise projects. The Chinese media suggest that the non -anneized project was either initially the Jonor of Kings joking or lay down in it.
Moba Honor of Kings is one of the most popular games in China, so the idea to create a large -scale gaming universe around it looks quite reasonable. For example, Honor of Kings: World, in which familiar characters will study the world, perform tasks, fight with a variety of monsters and take part in PVP-transfers, is being developed.
