Tripwire Interactive has officially unveiled Killing Floor 3, the third installment in the acclaimed Killing Floor co-op first-person shooter series. The announcement took place during the Opening Night Live event, which was held as part of the gamescom 2023 exhibition.
According to the plot of Killing Floor 3 in 2091, the world was on the verge of disaster when the Horzine Corporation created an ideal army of biomechanical creatures subordinate to it. Only the Nightfall squad, consisting of brave rebels, can save humanity from this nightmare. Players will take control of one of the Nightfall fighters, who, along with five comrades, will fight monsters, earn money, improve their skills and acquire various weapons.
Killing Floor 3 is in development for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but no release date has been confirmed yet.
