The Korean studio Lifulls has released the isometric role action of Chasers (체이서즈), in which players can collect and develop characters without the use of gachi-mechanics. Instead of random calls, the heroes are unlocked using crystals – a currency that can be obtained by a game way or when buying for real money. The developers decided to abandon the usual monetization in order to give users the opportunity to enjoy the game without stress associated with the elements of the random.
Chasers events unfold in the world of urban fantasy, where the player has to take on the role of an arbitrator and lead a detachment of fighters in the struggle against the city of Alulun, who monopolized solar energy. Tactical battles combine the elements of action and strategies: for victory, it is important to consider the attributes of characters, choose the right moments for evasion, combine skills and switch between heroes at the right time.
Each character has its own story and a unique battle style, and their appearance can be changed using various costumes. The game world hides many secrets that can be revealed as they move. The developers promise constant updates with new characters, expanding history, temporary events and additional game modes, including PVP, tests and guild activity, and so on.
Chasers are available only on PC through their own clientas well as mobile devices running iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). In the future, it is expected to enter Steam. The game supports English, Korean and Japanese languages with voice acting in Korean and Japanese.
