Digital Extremes has announced that the major update “Dagas Abyss” for the third-person co-op shooter Warframe will be released in October 2023. Unfortunately, the developers did not name the exact dates, but now we at least know when it is approximately worth waiting for new content.
The Dagas Abyss update will add the 56th Warframe named Dagas to the game. The developers did not go into details, but hinted that his appearance and abilities bear some resemblance to a certain mounted companion that we could meet in Duviri. Dagas will appear along with a completely new sword and whip as melee weapons.
The update will also bring other changes with it, including auto-melee mechanics, overhaul of gaining Focus, removal of corrupted mods and MK-1 weapons, and more. The team promises to reveal more information at the next Devstream in September.
