The MMORPG RuneScape has received a major update to Elder God Wars: Extinction, adding the final chapter to the Elder God Wars storyline that began a year ago. It completes the Wars of the Elder Gods and also offers challenging combat and high-level quest content.
According to the developers, battle arenas play a big role in the update and can bring rich and innovative rewards to players, including brand new zones with access to high-level resources for experienced anglers, hunters, artisans, fletchers, designers and botanists.
“Elder God Wars: Extinction is an epic conclusion to our 20th Anniversary celebration,” said Matt Casey, Product Director of RuneScape. “Players may encounter familiar faces and enemies as they travel through Gielinor as they progress through the final chapter of the Elder God Wars saga. Of course, as one chapter ends, another begins, and the entire team looks forward to seeing players see what happens next and where we’re taking the RuneScape story.”
The Elder God Wars: Extinction update is available on PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android.
