Prophecy Games has released the first content update for its cooperative action-player Deadzone: Rogue, which is in early access. The patch version 0.1.1.0 includes an offline mode for one player, and also adds a new mission, makes balanced editing and technical improvements.
The solitary Deadzone mode now allows you to go through the game without connecting to the Internet. According to the developers, this was a priority task implemented in a short time against the background of requests from players. At the same time, the cooperative regime remains accessible only with a stable network connection, since it requires synchronization in real time.
As part of the update, the new Uniform Chaos II mission, available in zone 2, has also been added. In it, players have to fight with hordes of enemies of the same type, accidentally generated in each room. Mechanics develops the ideas of the previous Uniform Chaos I mission and offers even more diversity and challenge.
In addition, the update includes balanced amendments to weapons and opponents. In particular, in the HeadHunter mission, one of the bots was replaced by the new enemy Nyxis, and the Dual SMGS weapon was reduced by a decrease in the scatter and an increased chance of activating effects. The logic of respowed in the cooperative has been improved: now the dead players are returning to the weekend doors, which automatically open 10 seconds after the battle. A quick blow or jerk in the air is limited by one use, new descriptions have been added for experimental weapons, and the volume of some sounds is reduced.
