Moba Heroes of Newerth: Reborn, based on the closed game Heroes of Newerth, has not yet been released, but the developers are already preparing the first international tournament. The e -sports event will be called PK Global Tournaments, and players from around the world will be able to take part in it, having fought for cash prizes and exclusive intra -game awards. Registration is available on a special page.
The tournament will be held in the 5v5 Double Elimination format, in which the team drops out of the competition only after two defeats. Its winners will receive a prize fund of $ 2000, as well as unique colors of nickname and avatars, accessible only to participants.
Schedule of qualifying stages:
- AWAKENING #1 – 1, 2 and 8
- AWAKENING #2 – 5, 6 and 12 April
- AWAKENING #3 – 3, 4 and 10
- AWAKENING #4 – 7, 8 and 14
Tournament broadcasts will be conducted in English (Honcast And Hon Omg) and Thai (Paradise League And Hon Omg) languages.
In addition to the main tournament, the developers introduce a new Competing Practice system-weekly mini-tournaments, which are held in the format of free matches on weekends. Each player of the winning team will receive 1000 Gold Coins, but additional awards are planned in the future.
