The first major patch for Evercore Heroes: Asceence added a new mode and hero

A month after the launch of early access, the Vela Team Studio released the first major Starstruck update for the cooperative Rowli-Exchelen Evercore Heroes: Asceence. In addition to more than 100 corrections and improvements made on the basis of players’ reviews, the update introduces a new regime and a new hero, and also modifies the combat system.

An adventure regime was added to the game, which is a long -term test for endurance, strategy and survival passing through the whole of Cro. In this format, a team of players fights in five unique regions to return the stolen fragments of Evercore. It offers longer sessions, a high risk and opportunities for creating a variety of characters’ assemblies. The adventure regime is now the main one for the game and supports a single queue, selection of 2+1, predicted duets and a trio, as well as a complete single passage.

The update also added a new hero named Ace Evertar. This is a distant mobile character, using two blasters as a weapon. Ace is able to apply significant damage thanks to the unique Nemesis system.

Improvements are also made to the combat system and pace of the game. The developers processed the animations of the heroes, increased the responsiveness of management and added more exposure to every blow. Enemies are now won faster, but moments of high complexity have become more saturated. The system of healing and damage of enemies has been processed to create a larger space of command variations. The field of health allows you to play without characters of support, encouraging risky strategies and experiments with new heroes.
