The space role-playing game Starfield received its first patch since release, numbered 1.7.29. This time the list of changes was small and includes stability improvements and quest fixes.

Performance and Stability

  • Xbox Series X|S – Improved game installation stability.
  • Various stability and performance improvements to reduce crashes and increase frame rates.

Tasks

  • All That Money Can Buy – Fixed an issue where player activity could cause the quest to be blocked.
  • Into the Unknown – Fixed an issue where the quest might not appear after completing the game.
  • Shadows in Neon – Fixed an issue where player activity could cause the quest to be blocked.

In the future, the developers promise to add support for DLSS technology. Let us remind you that at the moment only the solution from AMD, FSR, is officially available in Starfield. In addition, the game will feature brightness and contrast controls, an HDR calibration menu, a viewing angle slider, 32:9 ultra-wide monitors, and a food button. Additionally, Bethesda partners with Nvidia, AMD, and Intel on driver support, so each update will include new stability and performance improvements.
