The multiplayer first-person shooter CrossfireX, based on the popular CrossFire franchise, has officially made its way to release. The game is only available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
CrossfireX offers several free multiplayer modes created by Smilegate, the developers of the original. In addition, the game features the Operation Catalyst story campaign from Remedy Entertainment, which is purchased separately for $9.99 and is also included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription. Its duration is quite short – only an hour and a half, however, another Operation Specter campaign will be released in the future.
At the moment, the release of CrossfireX on other platforms has not been announced.
