Good news: Studio Virtual Realms announced on its Twitter page the official launch of Warhammer: Odyssey worldwide. It is one of several MMORPGs on smartphones with a focus on Western gamers. Quests are typical: kill monsters, collect chests. There are dialogues, but they are not voiced, plus there is no Russian localization—the world of Warcraft level textures, general setting – fantasy. The world is divided into locations with loading screens.
The character needs to pump characteristics: after raising the level, we are given points, which we spend on the necessary stats. For the lazy, there is an “auto-allocate” button. There is a pumping tree, but it usually splits into two branches, which then converge again. The map looks nice: it seems to be drawn, as in the same World of Warcraft. As the cherry on top of the cake, there is an auction where players sell valuable loot.
Warhammer: Odyssey is already available on iOS and Android. This is a shareware project with a biting donation.
