The global version of Mmorpg Riders of Icarus closes

The publisher of the global version of Mmorpg Riders of Icarus in the person of Valofe decided to close the game servers. The project will become unavailable on May 15, 2025, and the in -game purchases have already been disabled. However, at the time of writing this news, the client can still be downloaded from Steam, and paid DLCs are still sold.

Closing servers will be preceded by several events:

  • February 27 – Updating the server bonuses
  • March 13 Update events with cubes
  • March 27 – ending seasonal pass
  • April 10 – the second part of the Magmapora event
  • April 24 – an event with an increased chance of falling out.

Valofe studio expressed gratitude to the players for support and admitted that the news of the closure could disappoint. They noted that over the years of the existence of Riders of Icarus, the community tamed powerful familiarians, examined extensive locations and created an amazing atmosphere. The team appreciates this journey and promises to keep the legacy of the game in memory.

After disconnecting the global servers, Riders of Icarus will be Korean the only working version of the game. There, the project is still available and receives updates, the last of which was released on February 12. Recall that earlier the game also published in Russia and Japan.
