Along with the launch of early access for MMORPG Throne and Liberty, a patch will be installed on the global market that will introduce many changes. The publisher published the full list in a separate article, and thanks to this, one interesting detail became known. The fact is that the international version will receive the previously announced balance changes even earlier than the Korean version. The latter, we remind you, will be updated only on October 16. This decision seems quite logical, because it would be strange to change the balance just a couple of weeks after the launch.
Changes include nerfing Tier 1 items. Many of them were too strong and sometimes even as good as their Tier 2 counterparts. To avoid imbalance and make the leveling process more noticeable, their stats, such as base damage, strength, agility and critical strike chance, have been updated. were reduced. Weapons dropped by Archbosses have also been nerfed. These include Tevent’s Warblade of Despair, Queen Bellandir’s Languishing Blade, Tevent’s Fangs of Fury, Queen Bellandir’s Toxic Spine Throwers, Tevent’s Arc of Wailing Death, Queen Bellandir’s Hivemind Staff, and Tevent’s Grasp of Withering.
Now let’s briefly go through the rest of the changes:
- Skill Specialization is a system for deep customization of fighting styles, including 250+ specializations for various skills.
- Fishing and Cooking are new professions that allow you to fish and cook with bonuses for characters and teams.
- Amitoi Expeditions – the ability to send pets to collect resources for leveling up and cooking.
- Weekly missions are tasks with rewards that can be selected at the beginning of each week.
- Cooperative dynamic event – players work together to defeat the boss.
- PvP Arena 3v3 is a new instanced PvP arena with solo and team queue.
- Optimization of the training system for the smooth introduction of new mechanics.
- Balancing the pumping speed – returning to normal speed after the accelerated one from the beta version.
- The level required for the auction has been increased from level 15 to level 40.
- Changes to the stats of many epic items, such as reduced damage and critical strike chance.
- The effects of a number of weapons have been changed.
- New weapons and skills – skills have been added for swords, daggers, staves and crossbows.
- New characteristics have been introduced, such as reduced critical damage and the chance of shield penetration.
- A control immunity system has been introduced for PvP.
- Improved camera and character control settings.
- Introduced power scaling in zones for new players.
- The loot distribution system has been changed for a more equitable division between players.

The global version of Throne and Liberty will be released in early access on September 26 (20:00 Moscow time) for owners of Founder’s Packs, and the full release will take place on October 1. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
