Update 1.10.0 can currently be considered one of the largest and most problematic in the two-month history of the global version of Throne and Liberty. Amazon Games planned to add new content that appeared this week in the Korean version, launch events and Twitch Dropsfix a number of game bugs and adjust the game based on player feedback. However, not everything went according to plan.
Let’s start with the fact that this update quickly added to the game a new weapon, the Spear, and a new Fortitude stat, designed to increase the character’s survivability and resistance to control. The title of the patch note even included the name The Call of the Spear, which puts emphasis on the main feature of the update.
PvE players received a new 2-star co-op dungeon, Chamber of Screams, which is considered the most difficult of all Tier 2 dungeons. And the long-awaited Dimensional Trials mode will offer complicated versions of T2 dungeons in which you can farm runes without limit. The rune system was also introduced with this update. It allows you to strengthen your character by adding various bonuses to your equipment and collecting certain sets of runes.
PvP players will be able to appreciate the new War Games mode, which allows you to arrange fixed matches between several teams and different numbers. In the future, this mode will receive automatic selection and a rating system with rewards for seasons.
In addition, the game has a “Fishing Code” and “Equipment Transmutation” in which unnecessary items can be exchanged for something more useful. Some weapon skills, user interface, event schedule and many other things have been changed.
The update was quite large-scale, but was marred by a number of problems. It all started with a classic problem with updating the version for the PlayStation 5. After the launch of the servers, players began to complain about the absence of Mystic Globes on the map, which made them difficult to find. And at the very first mass events, a very unpleasant bug surfaced – a significant drop in FPS when entering a PvP zone. This problem was observed on almost all servers, and in some it was aggravated by disconnections from the servers. Subsequently, problems were noticed with the in-game schedule: each time it is opened, different events and different times are displayed.
At the moment, the problems with the PS5 version of the game have been resolved, and the publisher is collecting information on the rest. We hope that the problems will be resolved promptly.
