The journalist shared his first impressions of the game Azur Promilia

The large -scale exhibition Bilibili World 2025 recently ended, to which Manjuu Games studio brought its new ambitious project called Azur Promilia. The journalist of the Japanese game portal 4gamer.net was given the opportunity to personally plunge into the world of this fantasy RPG. And although the time spent in the game was strictly limited by ten minutes, this did not prevent him from drawing preliminary conclusions about the game. In this article, we collected the most important thing from the preview.

Excitement around the new project Manju Games

Despite the presence in the name of the game Azur, which refers to another popular Azur Lane project from Manjuu Games, the developers emphasize that Azur Promilia is a completely independent fantasy RPG, which is not directly related to it. Her world is inhabited by fantastic creatures, magic and various civilizations. The interest in the game turned out to be incredibly high: the coupons on the trial version were grabbed literally in a matter of minutes after the opening of the exhibition.

Gameplay features

The journalist noted that even a short demo access made it possible to evaluate the variety of gaming mechanics. The first steps in Azur Promilia began with the creation of an ax and collecting resources on extensive locations. This hints at a deep craft system where players will be able to create various items from collected materials.

One of the central mechanics of the game turned out to be Kibo – unique monstrous creatures that can be tamed using special cards. This process, named Starlink, is perceived more like the creation of connections than a simple capture. At the same time, the chance of a successful Starlinka increases if you pre -weaken Kibo.

Combat system and teamwork

In Azur Promilia, players will be able to form units from three characters, and each hero can take one kibo with him. The quality of the chart and design of the characters, characteristic of Manjuu Games, is not in doubt. The journalist emphasized that even among many games with anime stylistic presented at the exhibition, Azur Promilia is distinguished by the highest level of study of designs, animations and movements of the characters.

However, Azur Promilia is not only about cute characters and kibo. The combat system of the game was surprisingly dynamic and spectacular. Management is intuitively clear: the left mouse button is responsible for the usual attack, key [E] – For the skill, and [R] – For ultimatum. An unexpected, but pleasant opening was the function of the block on the right mouse button. The successful block at the right time allows you to carry out counterattacks.

Additional modes

In addition to the main story campaign, the game provides for a separate content associated with Kibo. Within the framework of the trial version, the battles mechanics were demonstrated, where players place creatures on the battlefield, paying their call using the cost points recovering over time. Kibo automatically move to the enemy base, attacking enemies and their crystals. The winner is the one who is the first to destroy the enemy’s crystal.

Promising future Azur Promilia

Despite the short duration of the demo version, the 4gamer.net journalist was impressed by the potential of Azur Promilia. The game promises to be rich in content, and the role of Kibo in game systems turned out to be much more significant than one could assume. In addition, according to him, if you are just waiting for the next “fantasy RPG with girls”, then Azur Promilia will also pleasantly surprise you.
