Ramen VR, the studio behind the upcoming VR MMORPG Zenith: The Last City, has announced it has raised $ 10 million in venture capital, roadtovr reports. All funds will go towards developing the game and hiring new employees.
The authors also reported good alpha tests. According to Ramen VR, “Zenith: The Last City’s retention rates are similar to those of the most popular F2P games.” Probably, the company managed to attract additional capital with such statistics.
Zenith: The Last City was featured on Kickstarter back in 2019. The game grossed about $ 280,000 back then, which is a small budget to create a full blown MMO. However, now, it seems, things have improved and the project may well come out even this year on all known VR platforms, as the developers had previously promised.
