In the latest update for the action role-playing game Dragon’s Dogma 2, the developers have made several important changes, among which the introduction of a casual mode is especially worth highlighting. This mode is intended for those who want to enjoy the game with less difficulty and resource expenditure, but at the same time disable some achievements. You can switch to it at any time, but you won’t be able to go back to normal difficulty.
Key features of casual mode:
- The fee for staying in a tavern has been reduced.
- The price of Ferrystones, an item for quickly moving around the map, has been reduced.
- It is more difficult to reach the “Heavy” or “Very Heavy” state when carrying a large number of objects.
- Less stamina is consumed when running outside of combat.
- When selecting the “Load last save” option after the death of the Chosen One, the loss bar does not increase.
- Pawns recover from dragon disease even at the last stage.
In addition, new items have appeared in the game, the animations of pawns and the arsenal of fighters have been improved, and a new Portcrystal has been added to the Bakbattal location. The update also affected class balance, making some skills more powerful and useful. There were also some bug fixes. The full list of changes can be found at official website.
